The professional and personal challenges, the high and lows, the failures and the success?
LIFEATHON is a national level innovative hackathon organised by IEDC, Christ College of Engineering, Irinjalakuda in association with Kerala Startup Mission. It acts as a forefront for connecting students with start-ups and creates a pathway for students to get internships and placements.
Lifeathon comprises 12 startups and mentors and is an excellent opportunity for startup exhibitors to showcase their brainchild in front of leading investors and mentors. It is also an excellent platform where students can get connected to the entrepreneurial world. The Lifeathon also provides internship opportunities to the students. Apart from the Lifeathon, there are various Business events organized during the fest that will help you to sharpen your business skills.

LIFEATHON SEASON 2 is a hackathon that allows you to find and submit solutions for problems given by start-ups. This is an amazing platform for the students to interact and learn with experienced mentors, professional companies and an opportunity to focus on Skilling and Upskilling.
Lifeathon will create a pathway for students to get internships and placements in startups.
The Whole Event is Organized by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) of Christ College of Engineering, Institution Innovation Council (IIC) and Christ College of Engineering.
Who can Participate?
Engineering Colleges, Arts and Science Colleges and Poly-Technique Institutions students.
What will the participants gain?
Students will be a wonderful opportunity for the students to communicate with various start-up companies by solving a live problem.
Funding will be provided for building the prototype.
Students can receive various internship and placement opportunities through different start-up companies.
Students from any AICTE approved institution(all over India)can participate.
Participants can form a team consisting of 3-5 members in which a girl member is compulsory.
Teams can have inter-disciplinary participants.
Only new and original ideas will be considered for the contest.
Innovative solutions in their prescribed format should be sent to the following firstname.lastname@example.org
One team can submit solutions for more than one problem statement. More than one solution for the same problem statement from a team is not invited.
How to participate?
The interested participants can log into the IEDC portal of Christ College of Engineering and can take part in the event by filling in the details as requested.
Release of problem statements and starting of online submission of solution: 15/09/2021
Last date for solution submission: 01/10/2021
Declaration of shortlisted solutions: 08/10/2021
Presentation of solutions: 11/10/2021
Prototype progress review: 25/11/2021-30/11/2021
Submission of the prototype: 10/12/2021
